Having participated in the Rocketry 2017 competition as project manager of the team representing the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique, I found this experience very rewarding. It allowed us a direct immersion in the professional life of a mechanical engineer working in industry and who must carry out his technical studies while facing the real constraints of a project (dead-lines, costs, financing, production of parts mechanics, availability of materials, etc.). This experience also allowed us to develop the soft skills of an engineer, which are teamwork, communication and management. In addition we also learned that the realization of a project can sometimes seem difficult with stages where one can feel stress as well as pressure which in any case makes it possible to forge your personality as well as to prepare your integration into the world of work.

Permettez-moi de me présenter, je m'appelle Baghdadi Mohammed, j'ai eu l'honneur d'être parmi les étudiants de Sidi Bel Abbes qui ont participé trois fois au concours de fusée (Rocketry). Participer dans ce concours a été parmi les choses, pour ne pas dire, la belle chose qui m'est arrivée à l'université. Lors de la phase de préparation au concours (Rocketry), nous avons appris à utiliser les connaissances acquises à l'université ( les lois fondamentales, les logiciels.... etc) et à les utiliser pour concrétiser un véritable projet (conception et réalisation d'une fusée expérimentale ). Pendant le concours, la participation nous a permis d'interagir avec des étudiants de toutes les universités du pays ( 11 universités on participé) et d'échanger des informations, des méthode, des solutions afin de développer nos connaissances. Je suis maintenant enseignant à l'Université de Sidi Bel Abbes, je dis et je le re-dis les étudiants ont besoin de ce genre de concours afin d'appliquer les connaissances, les théoris acquises durant leur formation, et je recommande fortement les étudiants de participer effectivement à un tel concours.
